Infinitrak - Board Managers

Board of Managers

The Board of Managers for Infinitrak™ comprises three senior executives nominated by each of the two parent companies. They meet regularly to determine strategy for Infinitrak™ and to direct its operations. Chairmanship of Board meetings is rotated between Dick Elsy and Dieter Kaesgen. Meetings of the Board are usually attended by the senior officers of Infinitrak™, as well as by other senior employees from Torotrak and MTD as necessary.
  1. Dick Elsy

    Joined Torotrak as Chief Executive in January 2003. Prior to this he was Product Development Director at Jaguar Cars Limited (during the time it was part of Ford's Premier Automotive Group). He previously spent 16 years at BMW AG/Rover Group, where he held various senior engineering and commercial positions. He is a Chartered Engineer and a Fellow of the Institution of Mechanical Engineers. He is also a Director and Trustee of the Engineering and Technology Board.
  2. James Batchelor

    Joined Torotrak in March 2003. Before this he was Commercial Director of Trafficmaster Automotive, the telematics and traffic information group. He spent six years at BMW AG, including four years with the parent company in Munich and latterly as Project Director for Land Rover, having previously spent 13 years at Rover Group. He has an MBA from Cranfield School of Management, is a Chartered Engineer and a Fellow of the Institution of Mechanical Engineers.
  3. Jeremy Deering

    Joined Torotrak as Interim Finance Director in March 2006, assuming the position of Finance Director in December 2006. He has a strong financial and commercial background with FTSE 100 companies, start-ups and flotations. Jeremy has held senior finance positions in Tomkins PLC and United Utilities Group followed by Finance Director of Norweb PLC and then Acting Managing Director/Finance Director of Your Communications. Jeremy has worked for a number of start-up and growth companies in an interim capacity. He qualified as a Chartered Accountant with Arthur Anderson.
  4. Dieter Kaesgen

    Certified in International Business Development from Case Western University, Dieter also holds a degree in Agriculture from Landbauschule in Germany. He joined MTD Products in 1962 as a Tool and Die Maker. During the past 40 years he has held positions of Quality Control Manager, Plant Manager of Columbia Manufacturing, Vice President and General manager of LUK, and Executive Vice President at MTD. Dieter currently holds the title of Vice Chairman and President, MTD Holdings Inc and has been instrumental in expanding MTD into the global arena.
  5. James M. Milinski

    Joined MTD in 1977. He is a CPA, with public accounting experience, and has held various finance and control positions within MTD. As Senior Vice President, Finance and Treasurer, Jim has a wealth of experience relating to the MTD business.
  6. Hartmut Kaesgen

    Joined MTD in 1962 in the Technical Centre as a Prototype Technician, and quickly promoted to Model Shop Manager. He has held positions of Executive Vice President Product Development and Engineering and Vice President Business Development and currently is the Executive Vice President of Corporate Development and Engineering.
